Diana Woods – Biography
Selling tennis, golf and beach resort vacation homes on Hawaii Island is an encore career for Diana Woods. After graduating with honors from UC Santa Barbara, Diana spent nearly two decades in the alpine ski industry. She lived in the legendary ski town of Mammoth Lakes, California, then relocated to the quaint haven of Methven, New Zealand, and finally traveled far north to the hamlet of Girdwood Alaska. During her ‘Alpine Years’ Diana enjoyed life as ski instructor, ski shop supervisor, radio personality, and resort hotel sales manager.
Leaving the ski industry for real estate, Diana won the ‘1997 Rookie of the Year’ award in Alaska. Since then she’s earned seven specialty certifications and designations that have helped Diana offer her clients a high level of market knowledge and expertise: Resort and Second Home Property Specialist, Certified International Property Specialist, Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist, Certified Residential Specialist, Graduate of the Realtor Institute, GREEN Certified, and Accredited Buyer’s Representative.
Settling into ‘up country’ Waimea in 2002 with her husband and two buoyant toy fox terriers, Diana joined the Seaside Tennis Club at Mauna Kea Resort and began her Hawaii real estate career. Diana’s specialty is second home, Kohala Coast tennis, golf and beach resort neighborhoods.
